This month on Main Street, we are sharing with our preschoolers all about the different people God has placed around them in their lives to help them.  From their moms and dads, to their leaders on Main Street, God has placed people around them to help them.  They will learn this month that God made them, and that He made them also to help others.

Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind and loving to each other."  Not only are we given help when we need it, but we are to help others when we see a need.  We will illustrate this each week on Main Street through exciting Bible stories.  And we will put it into action as we encourage our children to talk to their parents about collecting non-parishable food for the food pantry during the month of May.

At home, you can encourage your children to be little helpers by teaching them that they can help around the house.  Give them simple tasks, like sweeping the floor or emptying the garbage or dishwasher.  God made me, and He made me to be a helper.

Our leaders on Main Street want to help preschoolers learn how they can help others.  They love to pitch in and help!  We also want to equip you as their parent as you guide your child toward a long and lasting relationship with Jesus.
